Shipping, Returns & Refunds


General Shipping Information

We ship primarily USPS and UPS. Our Shipping Department is closed on the weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and on all Federal Holidays, so any orders placed during the weekend or on a Federal Holiday will ship within the following business day. Limited circumstances may also delay dispatch time (i.e. combined orders, order verification, high volume, etc.).

Note: Some items cannot be shipped via USPS and we reserve the right to modify your shipping selection if necessary.

If you have specific shipping needs i.e. Signature Required and/or Insurance we suggest you contact us at prior to placing your order.

Most orders are shipped without a signature required. If you have a specific preference (i.e. "I want a signature required" or "I don't want a signature required") please let us know in the comment box at checkout.

Some items we sell are restricted in certain areas. Please make sure you understand your local and state laws, as well as any laws in your area regarding ownership and/or carrying of your purchase.

Patriot Knifeworks is not responsible for any injury and/or damage resulting from the use or misuse of your knife. 

If the customer is not present to receive the package and the mail carrier leaves a notice or marks the package as delivered, it is essentially delivered. We are not in control of the customer not being home or providing the correct address or responsible for the package being lost or stolen once marked delivered. You can always request to have signature required upon delivery to avoid a lost or stolen package. 




Standard shipping within the USA


Delivery time (once an item is dispatched) varies. Typical USPS delivery time is between 4-8 days for First Class, and 2-5 days for Priority Mail. Typical UPS Ground delivery time is 4-7 days.

Prior to your order leaving our facility, we will email you the USPS delivery confirmation number or UPS tracking number. Dispatch time for orders is typically 1-2 business days from purchase.

Shipping to APO and FPO Addresses

All shipping to APO and FPO addresses will be done via USPS (no faster than USPS Priority). When entering an order with an APO or FPO address please remember to use "United States" as your shipping country. Your package will be routed to the correct destination no matter where you actually are.

Returns Policy

Returns will only be accepted within 30 days if you received an incorrect or defective item. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in most cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (3 to 5 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (3 to 5 business days).

If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Cancellation Policy

Any order requesting cancellation before shipping will be subject to a 3% charge due to card processing fees.
